Even my second time around, they were still interrogating me about how i knew about them.
Did they require an actual passport, or just a copy?

IIRC my US license was sufficient. But they sure grilled me with loads and loads of questions!

I wonder why they're so strict? I was grilled leaving TLV before, but after having a short conversation in Hebrew I didn't even have to get my bags scanned there. I wonder if there's a way to charm the security people, not that I have anything to hide.

Even after mentioning that I spent Shabbos by Rabbi Avtson they still wouldn't let up. They eventually do let you in, but they sure give you a run for your money

Is it worth it to pay to go into the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome at the Gardens by the Bay, or is it nothing special? What about the OCBC Skyway? (Assume I'll get a discount with the SQ boarding pass on the former)

Like maybe the stairs you'd use are under construction or not accessible to guests due to the construction.

I guess I'll have to reach out to the hotel.
You know of any other good options close by that are ok for shabbos?

The GH isn't close enough for you? That's where I'm staying.

It is not a close walk, but I had no issues doing it. On the other hand, my wife did not like the walk.

Just remember all the sweat you'll accumulate from a 30min walk in Singapore
