Unless you'll be there this shabbos I'll have the TR ready before you go. If you'll be there this shabbos PM me. Overall it was an amazing experience though.
I'm looking to go to singapore in november is it worth it staying on sentosa island for the 4 nights I'm there or is it really out of the way from the city? TIA
SIN + ZIKA = NO GOOD.
Not good indeed. Good thing I went before zika got there.
Or at least before it was discovered...
Anyone know or has in the past purchased food from Awafi kosher in Singapore to vacuum pack, kind of what Pomegranate does?, I know it’s not pomegranate but we are flying from SIN to MLE.Is Awafi pricey? http://www.singaporejews.org/awafi-restaurant/menu.html
Anyone wanna help me with finding the best place to stay for 2 days in SIN? I'm not staying for shabbos so it doesn't have to be close to chabad. I'm trying to find the best combination of value, location, and "luxury" but I'm a little overwhelmed.
Still trying to decide on a hotel, should I stay by Orchard Rd. or down by the bay?
Orchard Rd goes all the way down to the bay.
I meant by the shopping center where the GH is.
If you want to be closer to the restaurants and shul stay on Orchard Rd. That being said, we stayed at the Conrad and loved being able to walk to the stuff at the Bay AND the shul and Coffee Bean, because we were right in the middle. Next time I've reserved at the New Hilton Garden Inn because it looks closer to shul and is only 20k HHonors a night (when I booked, it was 10k which is an insane redemption).
Conrad isn't showing any points availability and I can't get it to pull up C+P. Right now I'm leaning towards booking the St. Regis with 20k CSR a night and hope that they recognize my gold status.
Do you have a cert (or can you buy one) for the Intercontinental? We walked past and it is in a great, really central location. I'd hate to see you blow 20k Spg for just a normal city St. Regis...
