The St. Regis actually looks pretty nice, I'd be booking with CSR though, not SPG.

Ah ok missed that. I'm just crazy about saving my SPGs for airline transfers too.  :D

Yep, only thing is I'll have to pay taxes and fees since it's not an award booking. The Intercontinental actually looks really nice also.

Will be staying in SIN for two days at the end of December after staying at the SR MLE.

Will I be able to stock up on kosher travel meals in SIN as I will be traveling to Bali and Thailand for a week and half after my stopover in SIN? For the U.A.E./MLE part of the trip I plan to stock up on POM meals.

Yup, go to Koshwhere.com and set your order for all the meals to be delivered to your hotel and put in the notes for them to make them ahead And deliver to them fully frozen and they will.

It's SIN we're talking about. Even if it's overpriced it's the only option.

I could maybe pack more POM meals and maybe restock in Thailand if that’s even an option?

Food was very tasty (nice mix of American, Sephardic and Asian menu) and I thought very reasonable.

Totally an option. Chabad has a Hotel delivery service for exactly what you need. They are more expensive though because they are very clear that the service is a fundraiser (as it should be) since they take a loss on the restaurants to get the secular Israeli in the door.

You can check out the Marina Bay Sands roof and the Gardens right nearby.

Was just there and visited the orchid gardens, marina bay sands & the rooftop view (Bar), Orchard Street (kosher coffee bean which has a great menu) and that’s pretty much all you need to see if I remember correctly. If you’re interested maybe make a trip to the national orchid garden but not something I would go out of the way to see if your pressed on time.

What time of the day is your 12 hour layover?

Dan posted a while back regarding buying tichels on arab st. anyone have more specific location/shop to go to for this?

Dans TR:
"We also went to Arab Street where you can pickup tichels galore.  You’ll have to bargain, but the patterns and material quality are awesome and prices are better than in Israel.  As it was Friday morning the Sultan Mosque was closed to non-Muslims."

Hi all,

I will be in Singapore next Shabbos with my wife and Infant.
What do people do with a baby in terms of carrying him/her to from Shul on Shabbos? Is there an Eruv? Are there any hotels that are connected to the Chabad complex? It seems that the "30 Bencoolen" hotel is right behind Chabad but it looks like you still need to go through the street to get to the Shul/restaurant.

Looking for someone with experience to chime in please.
Thanks!

does chabad have a non-Jew who can push the baby? (if your LOR says this is ok)

Get someone from your hotel to push your baby and see if Chabad has someone who can push back. It's the only way I can think of.
