I got a check in euro from Scotland.  I tried depositing it but Chase told  me they can't accept checks from Scotland.  Any ideas?

I got a check from Israel in shekels once.  I went to Bank Leumi or IDB near my office and they were able to help me.  Not sure if there are any Scottish banks with branches in the US.
