To set the record straight the tie was a rain shorten game. It was replayed as the custom back then. So there never was an official tie game in their 26 win streak. No different then needing so many innings to be an official game.

Did they continue the game or replay it? If they replayed it who was winning at the end of an inning first?

Replayed whole game as if it never took place. Not sure who scored first.

Right, need that box score. Because obviously if the other team was winning in the end of the 1st inning, according to current rules that is a loss ;)

I call it how I see it. And after seeing that I see the Giants as having the longest win streak unfortunately.

Of course it was a much different game back then with team manipulation and such by owners...
