Correct but isn't this his rookie year?
Yeah but to weather a slump like that makes it feel like more. I'm all for being skeptical...

I hope he is the real deal. It would be great for baseball. The second season is critical.

Is there any chance Judge is not for real?
Define "for real"? Will he match the start of this season? Doubtful. Will he match his slump? Doubtful. In all likelihood, he'll be somewhere in the middle.

Sanchez, otoh, is a beast.

Will he hit 35+ homers next year?

I predict ~40 for Sanchez and ~30 for Judge.

I also predict they'll have more back to back home runs than any other team mates by the time their Yankee careers are done.

I hate all this talk about how the Twins are the first team in the history of baseball to make the playoffs after losing 100 games the year before. It's actually the dumbest thing I've heard in a while, and everyone is talking about it on espn. 6 years ago and over 100 years before then the Twins would not be in the playoffs... So dumb.

Hey Houston, save some runs for tomorrow. It looks like we are going to need you to sweep.

Bottom would mean first overall pick. There are at least 8 teams below them.

Besides, the Twins are not in the playoffs (neither are the Yankees).

Its also the first time in the history of Baseball that the Twins and Yankees have met in a one-game playoff series on a Tuesday in the new Yankee Stadium. #MakingHistory

Wild card games count as post-season baseball statistically.

+1 it is definitely less impressive now that 10 teams make the playoffs, vs 8, vs 4, vs 2
