Which ones you only pay taxes for infants? CO, AA, US, UA ?
Thanks!

Anybody?

By the way, do they have special arrangements for 1 month old baby in business? (like they have in coach - that wall and the special basket that connects to it...)

Thanks for your help, parents! B)

US miles on partner airlines will be 10% of a full fare ticket, if you use miles to fly first on Lufthansa your kid can be more then 1000 Dollar.
Air Canada miles has a flat fee. I think 100 Dollars

This has been discussed a few times allready. With a little effort you will find all info!

Sorry if I correct you.
The basinet is just the basket. You will need a seat that has a wall in front of it, so that they can screw the basinet on the wall after take off.
Every plane has one or 2 basinets anyway, but if you dont have one of these seats with a wall in front of it, they cant give it to you. So if you reserve it, they will give you such a seat.

Exactly what I meant. The business  class also has a wall usually two that can be used to hang a basket aka bassinet

I am travelling to Israel on Continental with a 19 month old lap infant. The travel agent I booked it with told me there is no chance I will get a bassinet with a child over 9 months old. Continental says their policy only excludes infants over 22lbs. with no age restriction. Does anyone have any experience with this?

If your baby fits the weight call CO yourself and reserve the bulk seats for the bassinet.  I was able to get it with no status on an award ticket during high season.

I will be flying domestically and my child is turning 2 before the return. I know the airline may SAY I need to purchase a 1 way return for him, but how will they know he is 2? Will I need to present any ID to prove his age on the way there - and hence be unable to put him on my lap on the way back, or can I wing it free both ways without showing any ID??

I will iy'h be traveling with a infant on an AA award on ElAl from JFK-TLV, then again on ELAl from TLV-CDG and finally I will come home on AA metal from CDG-JFK What would be the cheapest way to add the infant? Anyway it can be done using miles (be it AA miles of ElAl)?

it shouldn't be. I've never been asked to provide either. Unless the kid looks to be over two. Then they may ask you to prove his or hers age.
