Drivers insurance - for a someone who doesn't own a car

anyone have any experience with getting car insurance for someone who doesn't own his own car... so that he can be insured on other cars, a work car for instance? Who does it? anyway to get a family/spouse plan or each one separetely?

Most of those insurances are liability only... I'm wondering if anyone has any EXPERIENCE getting coverage themselves and if it's possible to get coverage on the vehicle you are driving as well so you don't have to rely on owners insurance in case of accident..

The policy you're looking for is called a non owner policy and only covers you if you are driving a vehicle that is not owned by you. Unfortunately, it doesn't cover the physical damage to the car you are driving.
