IMO, even though capitalization is not a must and it's readable without it.

I definitely think it's a lot easier and enjoyable to read someones post which has it.

It's not one of the first things most here have to work on.

But once you have mastered everything else, I think it's something everyone here should work on.

So this would make me #3

like ive mentioned a few times now, capitalization doesnt appear to bother too many. i believe the reason is because even without capitalization, the comment flows.

What is annoying though, is when someone writes as follows "cuz u no dat i kare lol".

I don't get why it's even an issue. I pretty much capitalize automatically, it's not something I usually need to put conscious effort into.

I opine that the difference between texting and posting in an online forum is vast. One is a private message generally read once, by one person, whereas the other is a permanent and public representation of your statement.

Anything that is being prepared for public consumption should be given care.

Of course there's another difference which is also relevant, and that is, that in a text you are usually limited on space so you don't always have the luxury of punctuating and making sure that everything is grammatically correct.

I'd be happy to remove you from the fated "list of 10" if you so desire.

many times i post from a laying position so its inconvenient to hit shift. but like i said, i would try to make the extra effort should 10 people request that i do so. so far i count only 1
