Beginning has a different meaning, end doesn't.

Btw there's nothing special about this sentence. The point is that the placement of the word only can change the meaning the sentence.

You will often hear people say something like "I only want one thing" when what they really mean is "I want only one thing."

This is a little OT, but iam dealing now with Chase about return protatction, its the biggest PITA i ever had with a compeny, not only do they request the item back (under $100) I have to pay shipping to TX , its about $30-$40 and they make u send all documents , and then some. Same rules as any other punctuation - though how would a quote end with a semi colon?
