10,000 starwood points...what to dow ith them

How many miles do you have in your AA account? If you have none, then 10k (or even a bit more if the transfer promo is still on) won't do much for you.

If you want miles wait until you get 20,000 Starpoints and then you can get 25,000 miles.

I have about 40,000 miles currently in my account. i just sold about 130,000. I want to close the card so i will not be getting till 20,000. should i just transfer them to my AA account?

You do know you can close the card and still keep the Starpoints in your account, right?

Why make the decision now when you dont need them for something? Why not just wait and see when you can put them to good use.
