i cant watch the video now but am aware of this issue and am NOT a liberal by any strectch, however:
What is the big deal to open this mosque?
Firstly its not on ground zero but close to it.
Secondly if its a peaceful place whats the big deal?
Thirdly when you see prejudice towards Muslims which is unwarranted, you can bet that those same people hate jews as well....

This is a blatant insult and disrespect to the 9/11 victims as well as to all Americans for that matter.
One of the many reasons not to do it and a good enough one!

I disagree 100%. First they'll stop allowing Mosques, next thing it will be Shuls. Freedom of Religion should be for all religions....

Exactly, the fact that they're building mosques is not really what bothers me because on the flipside, as jews, we know that we are free to build shuls whenever/wherever we need them. I just simply think that its a little gallish to build a massive mosque so close to ground zero when it's islam that promoted the attacks in the first place. Remember how happy the muslims were after 9/11? They were dancing in the streets out of joy! (i was young but i still remember seeing it on the news)

There is a time and a place for everything, and a massive mosque right outside ground zero post 9/11 is whats giving people a hard time NOT the concept of having freedom to build religious venues

But thats just my opinion....

Nope, the issue is here ground zero with a mosque on it, not the other way round.

No one complains against a mosque in Detroit or anywhere else.

I dont know why everyone is saying that it's "at" Ground Zero. It's at least 3 blocks away. In Manhattan that's pretty far
