iPhone Vs. Galaxy
« on: July 18, 2013, 02:26:23 PM »
I currently have an Iphone 4s and was looking to switch to the Galaxy S4. I got used to the simplicity of the Iphone and seems like the Galaxy is more difficult to use. Has anyone had both phones?

Your stuck. The Iphone is easier to use. You will get used to your galaxy eventually but it takes more than a few hours to learn all the tricks.
I am not 100% sure about this. But I am going to click it anyway.

I agree, it takes more getting used to and I dont think you will ever learn all the tricks. But to use the basic features is not difficult and you are getting basically the same functionality as you did with the iphone.

I never understand why people use the simplicity as a selling point for the iphone.  Yes its simple, because it doesnt do too much and doesnt give the user any flexibility.  My old feature phone was also very simple to use.

People like high technological advancement with simple usage, that's what they're selling it on!

But they haven't advanced that much.... That's also why others have caught up in sales.

Too late. I got the S4. So far I love it.  I have been playing around with it for the past few days and it has a lot of really cool stuff.

Have you found that the scrolling is not as smooth as iPhone?

You're missing the point he made, if you would prefer the simplicity then Android has it, all the basic functions are no more complicated in in Android then they are on the iPhone. But if you want to customize then you need Android.

For one, the apps all over the place on androids. There are many non-techie people that have no clue what apps they have.
