You can move messages over from one category to the next. I'm sure it has the ability to learn what to do the next time you get a similar email.

+1. All the flaws people are pointing out are before you give it a chance to adapt to you. After a week of having to move a few things, you'll see the benefits once it's used to you.

BS, at least the way I work this turns out god for retailers, I used to send all promotions to spam so that they don't clog my inbox, now it goes into a tab that I actually look at from time to time.
Retailers would do good if they stopped fighting by sending out those "Put us back in your inbox" emails (which makes them sound desperate).

The retailers are well aware of how many people click on their emails once they are opened. I can only imagine those numbers have dropped significantly since the new setup which is why they are responding with the "put us in your inbox" email. (And I am Maskim they are desperate, just that those numbers may be more important to them than the people who will now occasionally glance at the other tab)

I don't know about others, I know I opened more emails now that they are in my promotions tab than what I used to when they were in my spam.
