Apply in june/July, Get hit with the AF somewhere in July.
Do $300 now & $300 in January.
Then you cancel in January you get back the AF (still in 6 months window) you take out $600 and get back $395.

ritz points can be used at Marriot hotels on a 1:1 to ratio with marriott points? and same award availability? you don't you lose anything?

no one mentions IHG card? I thought with point breaks you can find rooms for as low as 5,000 points a night?

Since when does the af get refunded by 6 months ?

It's a little tough to get done but there is a number of success stories, just a little Huca.

multiple chase reps have told me that within 60 days its automatic; within 180 has to be done manually

Just have to find the right rep. shouldn't be too hard, just a few tries.

you don't lose the points on co-branded cards if they are already in the hyatt account

You don't lose the points when you close airline or hotel cards.

just double checking. im assuming the hyatt free nights work the same way as points and i can close the card without losing them?
