They had to scan the bottom like they do to a new card.
This is where I'm confused. The bottom has the magstrip and pin, but the barcode is on the top part. The documentation refers to swiping the card but I don't know how you'd prompt a CVS clerk to swipe something like this. Seems more likely they'd rescan the top barcode.
I have never bought or loaded these at CVS. It's not worth the high risk of being shut down just to be able to spend at CVS. Anything you are buying with pp and not with a reg visa gift card would prob add to the shut down risk.
I've reloaded at CVS before.
I guess the cs didn't know how to do it. Will have to try again.
Really? Could you tell me the exact transaction bc I've tried countless amounts of times...both the strip and the barcode.... Thanks!
I've never done it. Look up thread.
BH 1 of my cards with the 203 error finally loaded with Safari mobile private browsing!!
Have you guys been attempting this with the white or the light blue? I just bought the attached light blue, which says reusable on it, from a DR, and will attempt to reload at CVS and will report back.White or light blue?
Getting 203 and safari mobile private not working either.. hmm
Aside from saving the environment, is there any benefit to actually reloading the card?
Any CVS I've been to in the past few months in NY hasn't had
For my other one that had 203, I ended up having to open a ticket by calling the number on the back of the card. But they took care of it the next day.
Worked for me finally.
REload successful at CVS. Rep scans the bar code like a new purchase so save the whole thing not just card portion.
I'm looking at my cards now and it seems that there are two versions. One has a removable bottom and a bar code on the top portion (which must be the one you have) and one has a one piece card that looks to be an old non-re-loadable version that has no bar code just a blank white space...
