Chase fee waived gift cards

 Searched and could not find the thread. I bought 2 $500 Chase no fee GC and tried using in Post Office to purchase money orders like I believe I heard was possible.

Would not go through at PO. Tried full $500 and even tried $400 on each

 Went to Chase and they show $500 on each . Does PO block these , even though they say Debit card Visa on them

Don't know about chase gc's,  but regular visa gc's do not work at the post  office.  It seems there machines are coded to automatically registered the card as gc/no pin.
