Help! Got a ticket!

Going from Brooklyn to the 5 Towns, I got a ticket right after I got off the Belt. (in Queens, not Nassau)

The cop told me that I was going 61 in a 40 zone ( How convenient that I was going 21 MPH over the limit and now get 6 points).

When I asked how fast the 20 cars riding along side me where going, he replied "I was the only one on the rode". Only one on Rockaway Trnpk? Wow!!

Anyway, 6 points is a killer, does anyone have any info on someone who can help me make this ticket "go away"?

There is a huy that pulls the ticket from the system withen the first 24 hours, but I do not have any contact info.

I think it's still done. There's a guy who fights tickets in the area. Search for one of the threads that discusses tickets.

Just got pulled over in nassau county (long island) for looking at my phone, I was kinda lost as I'm not from the area- so was trying to look at the gps.

Cop hit me with 3 tickets! One for "operating vehicle while using portable device" another for expired inspection (didn't realize expired dec 31st) and third he claims my rear plate was "covered by a thick frame" , it has a regular frame that leasing companies put on, never had any issue-its perfectly visble.

Anyone know how to go about this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

IIRC for expired inspection if you get one by the end of the day the ticket was issued it will be dismissed
regarding the "covered by a thick frame" ,that's a $50 ticket you will probably get off

My lease is up in a few days, should I still inspect it now? also most places would be closed by this time, can it be done tomorrow?

assuming they do dismiss the ticket.. within 24hr should be ok.
its anyway only $10 for inspection so why not do it?

Actually I'm seeing online that nassau county penalty is $238 for expired inspection! Is there a point of doing inspection now?

Ended up doing it, my lease is up in a few days that's why was asking...

Did a plea bargain, they reducing everything to half besides the cell phone ticket, as they started this program where they take off the points if you buy something that tracks your cell phone for 3 months while driving.. but after everything still came out to $600! wondering if i would've done better going to trial... especially with the obstructed license plate ticket as even the judge today never saw a ticket given for that...
