Can VINeias please learn to spell Israel the right way?

That would be showing respect to the traifene medinah.

That would be showing respect to the traifene medinah.

In their latest tweet they spelled it right once and wrong once.
Just a tad bit ridiculous. At least 3 tweets today had a wrong.

Imprecise puns, jokes or parables.
For example?

For example?

Are you trying to see if this is a pet peeve of yours as well?

Lol, I guess I'm just not exactly sure what you mean by "imprecise" puns etc, so I was wondering if you would give an example.

Like this one- "What's the best car to use on Purim?"
"A Su'bourbon"

Bourbon isn't a car and this drives me nuts!

??? But a Suburban is. By extension of your logic, you must hate every pun.

Sounds like you just don't like puns. That one you mentioned is legit as far as puns go. By definition, puns are "imprecise."
Do you also not like this one:
Mr. Goode: "What type of car should we buy"
Mrs. Goode: A "Goode" car!

"Goode" is also not a car; does this drive you nuts as well?

Not necessarily... I rather like the old one "In a democracy your vote counts and in feudalism it's your count that votes." It works all around.

I think it's almost an OCD thing. Like the joke above, I had to rephrase in mind as "What's the best way to get through BP on Purim?

Ha! I'm not familiar with cars, and I thought Goode was a brand... Then it would work. Here it works somewhat, but it's weak because Goode as a name doesn't mean anything.

That's not a pun. It's just a pithy quote. A pun by definition is a play on words and often uses lousy grammar/logic.

No, it uses the word count twice legitimately.

I don't know the rules, so maybe I hate all puns...

I like Shakespeare's "Dreamers often lie." It works both ways

Right, clean pun. Like the epic: Trust Sleepy's for the rest of your life.
