When kids forget to make sure they have everything they need before they get into the shower.
For the shower or when they get out?
I just found a new supply of forks!

What's the difference? They could be screaming that they need shampoo, or that they need a towel. Either way it's annoying, especially after they are warned just before they went in.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Keep soap and shampoo in the shower solves that problem. That raises another question. Do you dry off in the shower or out?  :)

I guess you never ran a household with 8 kids at home.

And is the drying question about me personally, or about my family members?

8 or 800 it doesn't matter. Just have them use the same soap and shampoo.

For anyone that wants to answer. For me it is out.

You have 800 kids at home?

What if they prefer/insist on different kinds of shampoo?

Why would they? They don't do that on any other day of the week.

The problem with drying outside is that it makes the floor very wet and slippery. It always annoyed me when people in my dorm did that.

Which reminds me about two thing that I want to make in my house when I buy one (hopefully). A waterproof cabinet for inside the shower to hang a towel. That way I don't have to get cold when opening the curtain/door. Extra points if I can route a hot water pipe through it and use it as a heater without anymore energy usage. The problem with that is going to be mold inside the cabinet.

Second a soap dispenser built into the wall for soap and shampoo. Like what people have at sinks.

I was actually thinking about designing a shower head that gets soap directly injected into it and gets lathered up and dispensed with the water.

But I think that will have to be filed in the I"f I could, I would" thread :)

That has nothing to do with what I asked. We have three different showers.

A lot easier to dry out of the shower, that way the towel doesn't "dry" all the shower walls for you in the process, leaving you, no dry towel for yourself. In my bathroom I have an exhaust fan that has a hot air fan as well. I step out of the shower into the equivalent of a blow dryer. Never use it, but it's a lot better than this waterproof cabinet idea, I'd imagine.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

And get my feet dirty right after I cleaned them?
Wear slippers? Then putting on socks becomes a hassle from wet feet.
