You're doing it all wrong . Because of people like you dry people get wet. Where I take a shower there's a designated drying area (albeit a small one), that way the dressing area stays dry.
It all depends on which mikvah you go to.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

And they don't wipe their hands on it?
Depends where you hang it, and if you have other things for them wipe their hands on that are closer. The key is always to have a towel within reach of the sink/bathtub.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Now you're talking about a major pet peeve of mine. When there aren't towels ready within reach of a sink (especially one that's specifically intended for washing hands). What's wrong with people? Is this some kind of rocket science?

Well, I'm talking about kids here, but I agree with that. You leave your pants hanging on the hook and come back ten minutes later to wet pants

Not every bathroom/kitchen is set up with a convenient place to hang towels (that kids can reach)
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Exactly. Why not? You'd think that would be a priority just after the toilet, tub/shower, sink, and light.

The only mats that absorb are carpet type. When was the last time you washed it?

In kitchens, they don't have a usual, convenient place for towels.  I hang mine in my stove handle, but that's not directly near the sink.  I asked my kitchen guy and numerous others, but no one seems to have come up with something workable.
Also garbage paid cabinets don't seem to be a kitchen designer priority. What are they thinking?!

That is because garbage cabinets are horrible. They are impossible to clean well and stink. You can only fit small cans which need to be taken out way too often. A simple empty spot for garbage is so much better.

But they don't plan such a spot in a kitchen.  Do they think a well used kitchen, that they are planning, will not produce garbage?

I take my pail out of my cabinet constantly as I make smelly garbage, like food preparation.  So it's not dirty, smelly cabinet.

Reminds me of the difference we see in the alley behind our house, between the amount of garbage disposed by Jewish homes, compared to non-Jewish homes (especially if it's an elderly couple). The ratio is probably around 1000:1. Not sure if anyone ever thought of designing a kitchen for this kind of garbage disposal.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Maybe @TimT can find where I posted pictures of how I designed the garbage spots in my kitchen.

Touching on too many issues today. My water bill just keeps going up and up and up. No matter how much I pay (I have my bank send weekly payments) and no matter how much I try to make household members aware that water/sewer isn't free, just can't seem to get a handle on it. Having girls at home as associated costs....
