Pay the 1$ to experian. Depending what state u live in, that's where chase pulls from. It will say online how many accounts u had open in the last 2 years

Wish to close my Slate card with 16K credit line that i have had over 20 years.  they charge $99 fee that they wont waive. Its a joint liability card so they wont transfer  credit line to my or my husband's other chase cards. (20 years ago they did joint cards , now they dont).  Do I call and increase my Sapphire Line before or after I close my Slate?  Credit score is otherwise very good. thank you
No way to product change to freedom?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

What are they charging $99 for?

An annual fee, that they no longer charge on Slate but they do on this old one i have because of the low interest rate. Dont need the card, but i need to know if its better to have this credit line open when i ask for an increase on another card, or better to have this closed.

2) How can I figure out which amex I can reapply for the signup bonus and which one has the lifetime on it?
Read the fine print of the new offer. and you can actually PUTPAC Amex to see if you've ever had a specific card before. Just use seichel.

I am referring to an amex card that I had previously, how do I know If when I signed up original it was a once in a lifetime card or not?

IF not how long before I can reapply and still get the bonus?

I'm sure this was asked but I searched and did not find anything. When is the earliest age you can start building credit for a child?
Amex is only from 15 yrs old and chase and the rest prob dont help credit much, or do they?
And what about barclays if they asked for a SS (which they do over the phone).
TIA

IIRC people reported that after 7 years they don't have record of it anymore and you can get the bonus again. But as @username said you can call and ask them, just use seichel.
