Or just keep something like 5 or 10 pages of threads and archive the rest.

Once a deal is dead there is realy no reason to keep its thread active for more then 30 days.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is this different then say Groupon Master thread? what does one deal have with the other over there?
   
The idea of this thread is that the Gold Box Deals are more days not interesting then interesting, so whenever there is a nice deal someone should post it here.......

The groupon thread is also a bad idea. If a deal is worth being posted it should have it's own thread so people know what it's about. And if it's not worthwhile then why post it

The title of the thread should be indicative of what the deal is.

So for example, Seamless, redbox or airport parking master threads are ok.

Groupon, Amazon and living social master threads are not good ideas.

The groupon thread is also a bad idea. If a deal is worth being posted it should have it's own thread so people know what it's about. And if it's not worthwhile then why post it

For me, seeing the NEW alert on the Groupon, Living Social threads are anough, why clutter up with new threads every day, and give the mods work to make sure to delete them after 30 days....
