I have 41 nights this year and was wondering what the cheapest way to get platinum status would be.

I am also thinking of adding another Spg Biz and Consumer card to pull me over.

Getting the cards is definitely the cheapest way.
Trick to getting more credits is to make a new SPG account at a different address and marge afterward.

Thanks but what if I do not want to get a new pull so I would just convert my existing Hilton card?

Would I lose the signup bonus if I merge before hitting the threshold?

conversions usually don't get signup bonuses...

So you are saying I should make a new SPG account link that to my application and then after the bonus posts merge?

Also, can my brother sign up for the credit card but link it to a new account at a new address in my name?

So I took your advice and got the 10 nights on my new account with the other address. Should I change the address before merging? Should I wait until bonus points post? Also, should I call up or do it online?

What is the value of plat 75 in spg. im 2 short. was thinking if it pays to spend 13k/night x2 nights for it.
spending 26k in return for 4 points per dollar? currently earning 3?

I doubt you normally make 75k a year points (Thru STAY Spend 25k and bonuses etc.)+ that it's worth a spend of 26k to try to recoup that.

Not sure it helps in your situation, but you can offer a discount for people to stay a paid reservation under your account. (I'd be interested, for example)

I need two more stays. I am happy to book people rooms and I have two suite upgrades as well to apply. I think it is a fair trade to ask you to let me book ur ticket, you pay for the room, and you get my amenities and hopefully a suite upgrade. Anyone interested. The stay must be completed before end of year.

Sorry reservation - not ticket. Anyway - is anyone interested in a suite upgrade and SPG plat amenities for a room you will be booking anyway at an SPG property before the end of the year.
