Worst part for him is when Almora was brought in and he stayed on the bench. Maybe Maddon is trying to get him to play with some fire. He'll get off the bench eventually and have another chance.

I'm not sure he needs fire or improved skillpower. Let's be honest, even the best GM's in baseball make some mistakes.

It's not as if they signed a rookie. He has a track record so obviously he has the skills. It's definitely a mental thing.
