I don't know if distance makes a difference in cost when shipping, but there is a kosher store in the Gold Coast that is a lot closer because it's already in Queensland. They might not have as great of a selection as they do in Melbourne or Sydney, but it's something to consider. That's the kosher store the Sheraton there got us food from as our platinum amenity.

Im trying to get from australia to new zealand using miles, can someone suggest what mileage program to use? Or maybe a mileage program i can transfer chase ultimate rewards to?

QF has flights bookable with BA over the phone.

Any tips on trying to find business/first class availability from JFK to SYD in December or January? I've been looking through many different routing options however there's barely any availability. I've also looked into flying from LAX but only finding seats on Hawaiian, which I heard does not have fully flat business seats. Thanks

Anyone want to convince me why I should bring a 2 and 4 year old down under and where we should go for a few days besides SYD?

That is different. Though if your kids will enjoy it more now, may be a good way to blow some AA.
