Find out how, emails to 100 dealrrs?
Not 100. Start with Amex car buying. Take the lowest number. Email 5 dealers to beat that price. Then email original dealer see if he'll beat those prices. When no one is willing to do lower. You have your target

But you'll never know. What I did was find the lowest price and then go to the Jewish dealership if he could match.
First car I bought he couldn't match.
Second car, I walk in and he says so how much you paying (he figured out the deal already). I told him my price and he agreed
that's for new or used?

Just seeeing this thread. I don't completely agree with the following statement but I was told a general rule by an accountant: you lease what depreciates (cars) and finance what appreciates (houses)

What I'm going to say may belong in JS, but you always imagine a person,  and you I always imagined in a Cadillac Escalade or LX570..... Not a Cruze.

Lol, that's exactly what I was thinking - I've been pleasantly surprised by the Cruze when getting it as a rental. My parents leased one for my younger siblings, but if the question is longer term reliability, their experience is not much help.

Compared to Hyundai, the Cruze warranty is terrible, might explain why people say it has a bad resale value

It can't just be that. The longer warranty is something only Hyundai/Kia - and more recently Mitsubishi - offer. You'll find some high end and European brands that have somewhere in between, but the vast majority (including Honda, Toyota and Nissan) have the same thing as Chevy.

+1
The Korean carmakers needed to do that to boost their quality image.

Economically buying a solid car like the sienna which will run forever and not lose value so fast is better.

But you are not going to be sitting in a new pacifica...

Look at it this way, assumimg you can get the same lease deal (which is not at all a given) after 5 years leasing will cost you approx, 16,600 which is about 3800 less than buying.
But you'll be without a car, whereas if you purchased you can prob sell for 8-10k (in order to compare apples to apples we'll assume you put 12k/yr miles), which will bring your cost from 20,400 to approx 11,000. Add to that the diffrence in maintenance costs on a new car to a used car. On this case prob not so significant.
Bottom line is it'll prob cost about 1k more a year to lease.
Obviously, if you're willing to drive the sienna into the ground the savings by purchasing  will be greater.
