That picture reminds me of HNL, couldn't wait to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Thanks

Any new thoughts on Air Tahiti?

Anyone have experience with booking local prices and/or baggage costs?

I haven't seen quality DP in a while about local prices.  And you can look online for added luggage cost.  It's 2 euros per kg if I'm not mistaken

DP? Destination Planning?

My understanding is that the local flight prices only usually include 10kg, but I think if you're connecting with an international flight you're allowed the regular 23kg/person (if I'm not misunderstanding their rules, but I can't find that exact info explicitly stated).

Yeah the luggage I think is 2.6 Euro/kg rt, just the base allowance is a little murky if I book the cheaper tickets

DP= Data point.

There are 2 types of tickets that you can book (after international flight) - Y class = 23kg and Z class = 46kg per person.

Not sure about local rates..

Air Tahiti Nui claims they cant allow me to select my J seat until I get to the airport- something about only releasing 75% ahead of time.
Any way around this?

Almost sure I assigned mine beforehand (which, of course, doesn't disprove their claim)...

Any issues with the milk in Bora Bora? Does it come from France or is it local?
