Citi prestige fee paid, within the 37 day bracket for a refund, have 115k, no AF waived or any good retention bonus offered. Any one have a clue about either transfer bonuses or new Citi thank you card bonuses coming up?

Can anyone provide a little insight into the 4th night free benefit (particularly for non-chain hotels)?  It sounds great on paper, but how does it stack up compared to mainstream OTA rates and promotions?  For example, let's say a given hotel on Orbitz is listed for $80/night.  They have their standard 15% off coupon, plus 3% or 5% Orbucks (booking via site or app, respectively), plus 2% cashback portal if booked via site/cashback portal.

What kind of base rates do the Citi Concierge offer?  Are they identical to the rates on mainstream OTAs?  I tend to see higher rates on the Amex Travel and Chase UR portals, even before OTA coupons/promotions.

(Again, this is mostly with regard to non-chains since chains typically offer the best rate via their loyalty programs compared to OTAs, which I understand that Citi is able to book).

No. I just made a product change on the account and I wasn’t able to sign in after. Guess I got to call up.

so to get me to renew citi gave me 2x points on all (and a bonus point on the special categories). im now using it as my go to, as its 2.5% on travel (even better than chase freedom, but with better product protections). am i missing something? obviously if i needed to transfer points to chase airline miles affiliates that would change equation, but for now i think i'm surprisingly using this card a lot, and i may prepay taxes too!

How much did you put on the card before calling?

I just got billed the AF. Any point in keeping the card open, if I never use it? No retention offers available.

Is it better to downgrade or cancel it?

Keep the account on your CR for longer? Which may just show more timely payments. Or keep your AAOA up for longer.

If you are churning cards don't worry about AAOA. It ten years it will not matter.

Per DOC, devaluation will be announced shortly on the card. Trip delay benefit will apply to Family only and will kick in after 6 hours, instead of current 3.
