Same for me at Stop & Shop in Massachusetts yesterday! Thankfully, I showed the manager the advertisement, and, after some prolonged fiddling with their computer, they were able to add the points for me to my account manually. They had to add 2000 points at a time. The points were available for gas use immediately.

You're lucky.  One S&S says they can only add 500 at a time.  Another won't even add any points any more even if it is the cashier's fault!  the manager insists on handling all gas issues with the 800# CSRs. 

I also find that the points are available for me immediately even though the store insists it takes 24 hours.

I wonder if Central Office will fix the glitch this week or just let their CS deal with it manually when people call.

I am not in the Lakewood area
It did not show up in my account. But I logged out and back in and the points were there

Bought gc today. Points posted instantly and showed on the receipt. No issues.

Has anyone bought more than one card in one transaction, and had the points post smoothly? I've had trouble with this in the past.

I bought 1x 500 VGC earlier today. No points posted. Went immediately to CS and they looked in the circular and then agreed to add the points. But when I went to use it by the gas station it said that I only had 300 points (.30 off a gallon). I think they thought I bought only a $100 GC. Am I able to take care of this over the phone?

You can try, but I doubt it. You're better off going back to the store with the receipt.

BTW, after they add points manually, you can ask to see the screen to confirm that they added the right amount.
