i registered six with twitter last minute, and bought the gift cards right away,
but i only got a email confirmation from amex saying "thank you for using synced card" for three of them,

should i be worried about getting the credit on the other three (two of them being an au on my accounts)??

My .02

 I just doesn't make sense to stock up on gift cards now and still use the freedom card. Why not use up your credit and that use the freedom card? Regardless of whether  you have the ink card you can almost always get amazon credit with your freedom card for 5ppd.
For example next year Q1 is gas stations. Many reports are that you can go inside a WaWa and buy gcs and get 5ppd. And if youre unsure of that then wait for Q2 when you'll be able to buy them in lowes. Q3 gas again Q4 AMAZON

And regarding the warranty. Like dan said for a small savings (IE 5ppd vs 1spg point) Id say go for the warranty. but for %33?
If you want the clearest proof that a warranty isn't worth %33 look at square trade. Thet dont charge %33 of your product value to insure it.
Youre basically saying, Hey I'm gonna pay 100 bucks to insure my new $300 camera??? when square trade would charge you less then $63(without any of their readily available coupons, $38 with the %40off coupon)

I bought my camera using this deal and I'm not sure if it's worth $27 to insure via square trade, So i shouldve insured with amex for $75??

You can flip the amazon GC very easily for a nice profit well before your CC payment is due.

I think I'm finally catching on to the game, and it's a fun game too! I probably spent 2, maybe 3 hours registering the cards, and buying all those gc, and purchasing the items that I'm going to sell at a  "loss". I'll come away with over $300 an hour, not a bad side job! Now it's time to add some more au's, I'll have more fun next year!

continuing the discussion about credit card warranties vs buying with gc...

I found a treadmill on amazon for $600, with the 33% off I can get it for $400, but it only has a one yr warranty. The square trade warranty on ebay is $81 (minus 1/3) - is there a better way to buy a warranty? never bought square trade before..usually use amex for these things...
