Discussed here. They ship from California.I ordered a case of Glen 12 750ml from them last month and it came out to $356.90 /12 = $29.75 each. Local liquor shop in Brooklyn has it for $51.
Breakdown is $25.99 per bottle + $3.75 shipping (when dividing shipping by total bottles ordered).

Their Glenlivet is very cheap. But the other single malts I'm looking at seem not overly cheap.

Why isn't there a Vodka thread? Can we make an amendment to this thread?
I don't think vodka belongs in this thread as it's a very, very different kind of drink and just like we have beer/wine threads of their own, vodka should be separate as well.

That being said, BY ALL MEANS, please start one and when you do please pm me about it. I've been trying to get the hang of it for awhile now and wouldn't mind learning about it :)

And sake too.
Maybe we should keep all hard liquor to one thread. :D

Best Bourbon
« Reply #190 on: February 07, 2014, 01:17:14 AM »
Hands down my favorite bourbon was Pappy's

My favorite in my price range is Basil Hayden (2/60!)

For my kiddush club I used to buy a handle of MM for (2/90), which was my go to, but since it disapeared from the shelves Basil Hayden is still the best in its price range

What your favorite bourbon?

Best Bourbon I've has is Angel's Envy followed by Blanton's followed by vintage bourbon

That being said, Basil Hayden's is a delicious bourbon it's just wildly different than most bourbons in that it doesn't have the "shine" or full body, it can almost be sipped with a straw! basically it's a segue between scotch and bourbon.

Knob Creek.

Honestly, bourbons like knob Creek and especially bookers are just flavored ever clear to me.

Blanton's with two cubes is heaven though

Where would you find  Colorado bourbon in NYC?
