2 good bottles I came across:

1- Glenfiddich Indian Pale Ale Cask (IPA) $79 - $85
2- Glenlivet Founders Reserve $59 - $69

Bothe very smooth and reasonably priced.

The Founders Reserve is an appalling whisky. Trust me, don't go there. It tastes like it needs quite a lot longer in the cask (it's NAS). It's been on sale for months in all of the whisky retailers in the UK.

Glenlivet have discontinued their 12 yo which was a solid, dependable malt, and replaced it with this. Yuck.

They replaced it because they were running low on 12 year. Hence the NAS.

IMO, Glenlivet 12 was the Sam Adams of scotch.  Good decent bottle for a decent price with excellent name recognition, but not very exciting and probably overpriced due to market demand.  At any kiddush, it's the last bottle I reach for.
