The CME just hit! So far it's a class 2 storm, and it's predicted to go up to class 3 (severe) in a while.

NOAA is still predicting kp 7.

According to the Accuweather map the Pleasant Lake area should be clouded in. I found another spot in a (hopefully) clear area, same distance from NY but NE instead of NW - Somerset Reservoir in southern Vermont.

Personally I plan on going even if the forecast calls for clouds, since this is an extremely rare event. It's worth it for me.

SO - with the understanding that this could either be spectacular, or, just as possible, a complete bust, PLEASE update yourself on the wiki.

Once we see who's coming we could figure out the logistics of getting there. I'd want to leave Brooklyn no later than 8 if at all possible.
