Nice, just before a potentially big devaluation coming this month.

any way around this? they price an infant as a full ticket....

Lap infant ticketing: We are no longer able to guarantee that lap infants will be accepted with your international partner award ticket.
Until further notice, Mileage Plan members will need to book seats for infants at the standard mileage rate on international partner award bookings. For travel wholly within the US, or wholly on Alaska Airlines, standard lap infant policies apply.

Usually, you can add an infant after ticketing by calling ELAL.

Am trying to get this done now. So far Alaska says it's added on their end, but "their international partners require that an additional seat be purchased for the infant" which of course is not true as Qantas books infants for no charge and no problem. Elal says they can't touch it as it comes through as a travel agent ticket and only alaska can add.

Any ideas? Also, can I expect that they'd be able to work this out at the airport?

What is Alaska cancellation policy for an elal award?
Looking to book CDG to TLV and I don’t see anything about how award re-deposits and if the taxes and fees are refundable

The $12.50 partner booking fee is not refundable.

assuming Elal does not jettison its partnership with Alaska seem like a good option for Delta Elites who want to fly Elal

Anyone have any luck getting a lap infant added to an Alaska award reservation? Elal says Alaska and Alaska says Elal doesn’t let them need a seat. Anyone have a clue?

If I'm not mistaken for revenue tickets you're able to buy an upgrade for like $600 - $700 in the airport

Wondering if the same would apply to for economy award ticket booked thru Alaska

If avail the FA can upgrade on the plane, and i am pretty sure they are not checking how you booked the ticket (could be the same at the check-in counter)
