r u able to transport something in the pot without it spilling? does it lock/seal shut?
Yes, the inner removable metal bowl has a plastic lid.
Reviewers on amazon say they leave the crock pot at work and just carry back and forth the removable bowl.
Its cleaner than using the work microwave, and cant smell contents till you open it up.
It does not cook, it's only for warming precooked food ie soup, cholent etc.
