Nobody is going to explain all this to you, do some reading here and on other blogs/forums into the pros and cons of each program. Remember that UA just got devalued and SQ is about to be.
Because if the fuel charges on non-United partners and future Singapore devaluation isn't moving some to United at this rate a good idea? Why would you advise against? Thanks.

Question:
I have miles stuck in Singapore because it used to be cheaper to fly United to Israel using Singapore Miles than United.
It now costs 90000 RT in Coach.

I booked a one way for 45000 it cost 23.68 for airport taxes instead of the united fee of 5.60.

From the US, what would you recommend would be the most bang for your buck for Krisflyer miles with the new devaluation?
Is Hawaii still a good bet?
Better for Europe via LH?

Thanks.

Anyone have luck mixing a standard booking JFK-FRA and adding a star alliance partner for the connection?

You can't mix standard award bookings with saver award bookings.

Is the new online booking showing all availability or is it better to check United?

The online booking did not show the United Saver availability for my flight.  I called Singapore and they said all the flights haven't loaded into their system yet and they booked without a fee.

Was wondering why the tax is slightly more than on United.  5.60 on United ...about $23 on Singapore.

You can stop in FRA or SIN.

Don't you need a round trip for a free stopover on SQ?

RT for saver, OW for Standard.

I just want to post how amazed I was with Kriss FLyer.

I found F availability for a SIN flight, B4 I transferred a ton of points I called them if they can hold it for 2 days for the transfer time. They told me they cant find the availability and that I should try booking online because they dont see it.
I huca'd a few X (zero wait time) and every agent said they don't see the what I see.
10 min later I get a call from Singapore on my cell, an apologetic agent tells me that they are so sorry but she was using the Singapore terminal, and she went into the NY terminal and she can find it, and she reserved it for 2 weeks for me.

Yes Hawaii, Carribean and Central America are all great at 35k RT. We went to Panama, with a free stopover in Cancun for 35k pp.  You could even technically letís say start in Hawaii, go to Carribean and end in your home city.

Points from Amex didn't come through over night. Anyone have success calling Amex and having them try to expedite? (SQ advised me to do so)
