Does Singapore let you cancel an award ticket within 24 hours for free? And yes I am aware they have a cheap cancellation fee.

Is there a write-up anywhere for some of the sweet spots of using Singapore?

That chart is great for their own Suites but if you google there are lots of great articles of good SQ uses with their partners, like the Careibean, Mexico, Central America and Hawaii for only 35k RT and you get free open jaws and stopovers.

As of now SQ waitlisted me for the earlier TLV-TRA flight, and confirmed for the later flight. I just got off the phone with LH rep. and he told me as long as I am on the waitlist, I can show up at the airport for the earlier flight, and if there is space on the earlier flight, then I can get on.
Just want to confirm that, this all makes sense, being that i never did this before.
B"H it all worked out, and was able to get onto the earlier flight. Took some fighting with stubborn Israelis but in the end the did it.
Big thanks to D93 for all the help.

It's different on the long haul 777s and the regional ones. Both are different (as not as nice) as the A380 J.

In order to WL for SQ-F Suites from JFK->FRA->SIN, do you need to have the the 110k miles in the account or will it be sufficient to have the 93.5k miles post 15% discount?  Can a subsequent flight be tacked on at a later date (ie SIN->MLE)?

You need the miles post 15% discount. Once you have X miles in your account, you can then also waitlist other flights as long as they require <X mileage.

Can I add MIA-EWR to a JFK-MUC-TLV booking with SQ for no additional mileage cost?

You probably can, as long as you pay the change fee.  I would just call them.

Yeah Lufthansa fuel fees are crazy.  Too bad b/c they have the best routing to TLV via FRA from Denver but same like you, the fuel fees are about $800 dollars!  BTW, if you are just transferring MR points, ANA is the best to TLV at 65k RT in Y and 104k RT in J.

Takes longer for points to post to Ana then Singapore.
With Ana you need to book rt with Singapore one way.
Cost only $20 for a flight change and $30 to cancel with Singapore.
Ana has the same fuel like Singapore.
Singapore is open 24/7.

So you will be better off transferring to Singapore and pay a little more miles.

ANA only cost 3,000 miles to cancel.
You can book *a partners directly on ANA's website unlike SQ.

How much does a change cost?

And that's another major issue I forgot to write before.
I book a lot with Singapore with a stop in Europe and closer to the flight I have found many times United open and I change for just $20
Ana doesn't allow changes 3 days before flight and that's when United opens availability.

And for a change you need to call in and they are not open 24/7
So you could miss the United direct even if it opens.
