How long before the flight does Singapore clear their saver wait-lists? Should I even bother wait-listing for a couples suit? Or am I better off wait-listing for their business class?
p.s. feel free to post any advice regarding Singapore JFK-FRA route even if it doesn't answer all my questions!

Can be anywhere from an hour after booking to <3 hours before the flight.

But don't hold you breath on that route.

Am I better off with the business class saver wait-list?

You didn't happen to get this through UA, did you?
I am trying to work out if UA is blocking SQ25, it seems to me that they are, would be glad if you have a work-around.

You can't book that route with UA miles, end of story.

@AJK, yes it is possible to waitlist and confirmed, just wouldn't get anyone excited yet.

I flew it last year, when did things change?
And who is responsible, UA or SQ?

Winning the lotto is also possible. Doesn't mean I'd hold your breath about that either.

Not sure I understand the question.

But in any event, if your point is that it sometimes opens, then I agree; But it's a far way away from being a "good chance."

What's your experience wait listing SQ.

I never said it's a "good chance".

But if someone is interested in flying them, I would definitely try to WL.

I have plenty of experience, and JFK-FRA is one of the hardest to clear.
