...but I would never consider it to be good enough on its own to be her birthday/holiday gift.
Do you think I am stupid? That is just the filler. Here is the main gift: Link

Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

On the lookout for a handvac. Please post if you find
Not sure what you are looking to spend but this Black & Decker Platinum BDH2000FL 20-Volt Max Lithium Ion Flex Vacuum has great reviews and has $10 off at checkout making it the cheapest it has ever been on Amazon.

It would be great for those hard to get areas in your house as it looks very powerful and not just a weak handheld vacuum.

It was $129.99 this morning now $89.99.

Thanks (and thanks for the PM). Just hesitant to spend that kind of cash on something that won't last more than two years. These batteries aren't meant to hold up that long

Maybe I'll go with this http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-FHV1200-Cordless-Ultra-Compact/dp/B002FQJW4W/ref=cm_cr_dp_asin_lnk

So you want a plug in handheld?

Reviews do look really good on this one though. Read them for yourself.

Are batteries replaceable?

No. I want to pay $30 for a machine that will last two years, not $90.
Yeah, they'll get good reviews a year, 18 months out. But you don't hear what happens after 2 years.
Depends on the model. Most of them (including this one) not.

I've been using this awesome vacuum cleaner for the past four months, and simply put, it is a zillion times better than the Hoovers I put up with for years. This things sucks up dirt like it hasn't eaten in weeks! Incredibly agile, accurate, and powerful.
I bought it from Officemax on sale for $176. But $199 is still worth every penny IMHO.

And bingo I found for $30.

Don't blame me if they take 2 years to get to you though.

It's a refurb. Which means the battery will last 1 year. I would pay $15 (I'm willing to pay $15/year of use)

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
