Why in the world would someone buy the MasterCard vs the visa if the choice is a staples gc vs a visa gift card

One of my rebates didn't show up in the mail so I thought I may have messed up on the submission. I also could not find the confirmation email that you get after you successfully submit. So I tried to submit again and got an email telling me that my rebate was rejected because the limit is one rebate per address.

I called CS and told them it never showed up, they are resending it to me.

Most cashiers don't even know about the promo in the first place,  so there good chance you won't have any issues and all. 
(It's regional,  so it's not advertised in the cl store circular in many states.)
