Is there anything i can do about a itouch that was stolen from me?besides changing my email password. is there a way to lock it if they would update it? i did not have mobile me? although i have best buy geek plan and bough it with amex gold 10 months ago would any of those cover for a new one?

I heard amex covers for some period of time. Call them and see what they say.
