Lost Iphone 4S. Now what?

I have an iphone4s that I lost tonight ( i think by the gas station ) I turned notification alerts for FindmyIphone but since its dead I have no way of tracking its location.

How and where is the best place to buy a replacement one ( I dont need a Brand New one) ? Its less then a yr old and Im on a Sprint plan. Does Apple protection cover lost phones?

For buying a new one ebay is always a great place, AFAIK apple protection doesn't cover lost

You may have insurance from the cc which cc did you use to but the phone or did you get it from sprint for free

Also insurance from Sprint. They offer insurance for $15 a month I think...which covers lost stolen etc

I paid $100 10 months ago via sprint on an AMEX I think. How would they cover it? I didnt pay the $15 extra insurance with Sprint.

It still hasnt been turned on, I could have dropped it in the snow...

Check your statements from around 10 months ago....if it was amex see if you can get coverage for the phone.

AFAIK Amex only covers lost items on the better cards and its only for 90 days.

Yes it has to be an iPhone for Sprint. When you get it you call to activate it or you can do it yourself online.
