Not true, anyone can join an existing Framily plan, u don't have to be on the same account. You can even be new to Sprint. I just recently had someone join my Framily.

As long as you are not under a regular contract you should be fine (easy pay and the like should just transfer over), but if you have a 2yr contract then I doubt they will let you. But you are gladly invited to my Framily!

Sprint won't allow anyone to join a framily plan unless you join one of the existing accounts. So in other words you can't get your own bill. I just had a call me them and tried joining a plan they said I need the pin number I would be added to the actual account. The support page only also says the same.

I don't know when this happened, my friend added a few phones to my Framily less than 2 months ago. They did it in-store, maybe try ur luck there. It could be only if you are new to Sprint will they let you make ur own account and join a Framily.

This is confirmed I have spoken to multiple reps, and after having them speak with their supervisor they all told me that you cannot add a new account to a framily plan. It's only possible to join an existing account which would mean sharing the same bill.
