Long ticket time with AA

I've been waiting over 24 hours for AA to process my ticket request.. 5 pax in economy includes Cathay and Dragon air...

They took all CC info and sent it to ticketing desk or whoever deals with it. been over 24 hours, when I call they say seems fine nothing out of the ordinary.. Just wait..

Anyone ever experience long wait times with AA awards?

Also they may have mistakingly tried giving my lapchild a seat even though I don't have enough miles for the 6th pax could that be a problem holding things back? (they didn't mention anything and keep saying I'm fine..)

I found lap infants to delay ticketing, at least on partner airlines.
Just had such a pain to finally have my baby ticketed on ElAl.

I spent 30k miles and $93.50 for each of the two adults and $142 for the infant in lap.
