i just finished my 2 year contract with Verizon on a family plan and i'm looking for a good deal on a unlimited cell phone data plan.  do any plans offer just unlimited mobile internet and text? I would also like to get a free android phone with the plan.

SR is $30/month (data only), VM's best is $30 with text and 300 voice minutes.

The only advantage I see for SR (@ $5 more) is 5GB of tethering included.

VM has a ho-hum lineup of feature phones to pick from, whereas Sprint Relay allows you to use any phone on Sprint (Including otherwise "restricted" devices, like the Palm Pre, Android offerings, etc).

Can you use 4G devices on Sprint Relay with no Premium data charge? If yes, we might be onto something here...

I just checked the SR site, it seems like there is a 'premium data' charge. Here's the quote:

The HTC EVO 4G requires an additional $10 Premium Data Plan.
