I ended up getting help maintaining letter/site from other deal finders so people can still sign up if they want. It was just getting overwhelming for awhile. Now it is more a team effort. We're also mirroring all content on www.extremehoteldeals.com

Yep, and a reminder why you should never ever accept a first contact cancellation. Often an OTA hasn't even discussed it with management at the property and they may decide to play it very differently. When the OTA wants to try to get out of what they advertised they will try to present an "ask" as if it is a declarative No. Don't fall for it. I have seen cases as ridiculous as an OTA stating unequivocally that a rate was canceled while the head of the hotel repeatedly was messaging anyone who emailed that they were "happy to honor our commitment."
