Ask them if they could post them they are usually nice about it if you paid that bill
So my first months statement closed, I paid the bill in full, had about 18k pending points. Now my second statement closed and I still don't have my points from the first month and my bonus points. I chatted and didn't get anywhere and just called and the guy seemed to think it's cause my bonus points are pending and they usually post within 5-8 days after the next statement closes. I asked if they could just do it now since I want to transfer to British Airways with the 40% bonus. The guy had to check with his manager and then said no they couldn't do it.

Is Amex always this annoying? I'm thinking now of just sticking with Chase and using their cards and the Barclay's Arrival card. Just don't understand why they don't just give you the points as soon as your statement closes like every other card does.

Call and ask for the membership rewards department.  As long as you have paid the bill that is pending MR points, they will normally accelerate the points for you.  You should know that on these Everyday/preferred cards, after the first statement closes, the pending MR points are only calculated as the standard bonus categories on the specific card.  The 20%/50% bonus, if applicable, doesn't get added until the subsequent statement.  Makes it very difficult to track these things, but that's the way they are doing it, apparently.

If I signed up through a different (targeted 25k signup) offer, would amex also match me for amazon prime?

The offer says it's for new card members only. Is that enforced?

And can I get the offer on more than one card at a time?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

You could get the bonus on 2 different types of cards, not 2 of the same thing.

Same idea as in here. Just now even easier as you don't need to email yourself a gift card. Can just reload balance.
