Now if only they would have been smart enough to include that line in every single one of their other cards....
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

you don't think they'll enforce it?
Things change daily in this game but as of now, NO!
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Guess you can't get bonus for VRs  :-\
IIRC, that's also been written in other T&Cs that still gave bonus points...

is this limited to part of the max $6000 a year or are you eligible for the bonus after every billing period?

U can't downgrade a charge card to a credit card IME... A charge card must remain a charge card e.g. Platinum, gold or green.

1) I would hold off on applying to see if there will be a better sign up bonus ( unless you need it to keep your MR alive)

2) when I click on the "apply now" button it takes me not to an application page, but to a logon page. it seems you have to already have an AMEX account to get this card (I tried in private mode too). Perhaps they have only opened it up early to existing customers and on April 2 they will open it to everyone

I closed my delta card and applied for the new card on the same day. Got denied for the new card because "too many inquiries". Called up and yelled bloody murder about the fact that they introduce new cards, i decide to give them a try instead of one of my existing card, and they reject me?

Long story short, the recon approves.

So, not quite a conversion, but close enough.

Was anyone able to convert any card to these new cards?
