FYI, the photo now clearly shows K560, I'm guessing it showed something different when you bought it?

Either way, the K560 is a 2.0 brewer. The carafe is a cool addition, but you need special 2.0 k-cups (and special larger ones for the carafe) - unless you do some hacking.

You can just buy a refillable cup on Amazon. They worked out to being $3-4. To date I have not put a single K-cup in my 2.0 machine and it works just fine.

No this has the chip built into the lid. Very convenient and easy to use. Many people scared me off buying the 2.0 machine for that reason but this refillable cup really works just as well as any refillable cup for the 1.0.

I ordered from amazon a B40 got a K60 delivered, there's was a note from "KEURIG" in the box saying we upgraded you...
Did I get a better machine? does the K60 have downsides over the B40?

Not sure of the difference between K and B but I ordered B40 and got K60 whilst the link is comparing K40 to B60

K and B are interchangeable. 40 has two cup sizes, 60 has three. that alone is a nice perk.

If you're going for the K40 I would suggest the K140 or K145 which is the same thing but instead of buttons for cup sizes you have a dial; its the office model, a bit more robust.

Only reason to choose K60 is the digital screen, maybe the reservoir is bigger too
